libixp0 software package provides simple 9P client-/server-library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libixp0
libixp0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libixp0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libixp0 *
You will get with libixp0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
